As well as the Junior Summer Centre at OISE, we run courses all year at our main campus. You’ll find our CES Toronto school in the heart of Downtown core on Elizabeth Street, steps away from two subway stations . As a 'boutique' school, we have just 18 small classrooms with an average of 12 students per class and we pride ourselves on our facilities, staff, and friendly welcome. Why not visit while you are in the city? See our website for more information.

Activity Leaders, also known as “Yellowshirts” due to their distinctive yellow shirts, play an essential role in supporting students throughout the Summer English Program. Yellowshirts are responsible for taking student groups to scheduled activities and excursions, ensuring students are supervised, engaged, and safe. They guide groups around the city, navigating public transport and walking routes, managing meeting points, and keeping activities running on schedule.
A key part of the role is actively conversing with students in English. Yellowshirts encourage students to use English in real-life situations during activities, travel, and social time, helping to build confidence and improve communication skills outside the classroom.
