Your stay in Toronto will be at Tartu Residence. The residence is a walking distance away from OISE, where all of the classes take place. Tartu Residence is well connected with two subways station in walking distance.
Arrivals can check in from 16:00 and need to check out on their last day at 10:00. There are areas around the building where we can store suitcases for you. Please remember to give you room key to a member of CES staff on leaving the building for the last time.
Tartu residence offers both economy and premium rooms.
All rooms are single en-suite rooms and have a bed, desk and chair and a wardrobe.
There is a small shower with a sink and a toilet
Bed linen, duvet and pillow is provided and towels are provided.
If you need a hairdryer you will need to bring one for yourself
Wi-Fi is available everywhere

All meals will be served at our Ruskin Campus and not at the residence (the residence does not have a canteen)
Meal times are as follows:
Breakfast: 7:15 – 09:00 Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 09:30 Saturday and Sunday
Lunch: 12:00 – 14:00 Monday to Friday, packed lunch (to be collect at breakfast) on Saturday and Sunday
Dinner: 18:00 – 19:30 Monday to Friday, 19:00 – 20:30 Saturday and Sunday
Public transport, the TTC, in Toronto is safe, reliable and very regular. It is popular with young people and widely used.
There are two subway stations in walking distance to the residence, which are St. George station and Spadina.
In the morning to go to class, you will walk down Bloor St West for 6 minutes to arrive at OISE.
Tartu College is located Downtown in the heart of Toronto, in walking distance away from the University of Toronto Campus.
Daily social activities will take place after lunch. Resident students will be meeting in the parkette at OISE with their group and their activity leader at 1:30PM. Once the activity ends, the students will be dropped off by the activity leader at the nearest subway station. The activity leader is available to the students and will answer any questions that they might have about what directions they need to take to get back to the residence.
If you cause any damage to the room or the property, we will expect you to pay for the damage before you leave
Make sure you keep your room locked and any money or valuables in a locked suitcase.
We expect all students to be in their flats by 22:00 and in their own rooms by 22:30. We do have a checking system in place and students breaking the curfew will face disciplinary action.
