Officially opened on June 27th, 2017, the REC Room Roundhouse combines dining and arcade style games and attractions. The location of the REC Room is in the John Street Roundhouse, which was the storage location for steam locomotives. Now, it has been restored into a public park and entertainment zone.
The Rec Room offers a large variety of games including classic arcade games (Pac-Man, Street Fighter, etc.), racing games (Mario Kart, Formula 1, etc.), VR games, air hockey, basketball hoops and many more.
1:00PM: Meet activity leader and walk to St. George Station
1:10PM: Board the Line 1 Southbound train to Union Station
1:20PM: Get off at Union Station and walk to the REC Room via Skywalk
1:30PM-1:45PM: Arrive and the REC Room
2:00PM-4:00PM: Students can play the arcade games until they run out of credits, and redeem their earned tickets
4:00PM-4:15PM: Activity Leaders meet with their group and walk back to Union Station
4:30PM: Activity Leaders dismiss their groups at Union Station
1:30PM: Meet activity leader in the common area and walk to St. Patrick Station
1:40PM: Take the Line 1 Southbound Train to Union Station
1:55:PM: Get off the train and walk about 900m via the Skywalk to Rec Room
2:15PM: Arrive at the Rec Room
2:15PM-2:30PM: Arrive and the REC Room
2:30PM-4:30PM: Students can play the arcade games until they run out of credits, and redeem their earned tickets
4:30PM: Students meet their activity and walk back to Union Station
4:45PM: Group is dismissed at Union Station
Take the Line 1 Southbound Train to Union Station
Get off the train and walk about 900m via the Skywalk to Ripley’s Aquarium
Arrive at the Rec Room
