Enjoy a relaxing, fun day at Toronto's most popular beach! Woodbine Beach, once a wooded area known as "The Cut," became a public beach in the 1950s after the extension of Lake Shore Boulevard made the waterfront more accessible. Originally a cottage retreat, it evolved into Toronto’s largest urban beach and a popular recreational hub. Students can play volleyball, go swimming in the lake or relax on the beach.
Biggest Beach in Toronto – stretches over 2 km, so there’s lots of space to run, play, or relax.
Volleyball Heaven – over 90 courts in the summer, perfect for friendly matches.
Historic Lifeguard Station – Leuty Lifeguard Station has been keeping swimmers safe since the 1920s!
Clean & Safe – it’s Blue Flag certified, meaning the water and beach are top-notch.
